Stupid fuckin 9/11 got this game cancelled. It was scheduled to come out a few weeks into September, but then the attacks occurred. We wouldn't be playing anything like this until three years later (Crimson Skies)

@InstinctualJealousy When Sega heard news of PS2 and XBOX, they knew the only way to succeed was to produce great games (w/o EA). It didn't help much to stay in the console market, but they sure went out with a bang!

BTW, Shenmue wasn't profitable :*(, every Dreamcast owner would have to purchase it twice just to balance out.

@ioport i love how your acting like the PS2 was even close to the xbox and gamecube. the freaking order (in power from least to greatest) went PS2, DC, GC, and xbox. Also i love how you compair the SEQUEL to a game to the original. of course its going to look better, thats what they TRY to do with sequals.

Dreamcast the bastard console of the 90's? My ass. Dreamcast far weaker than PS2? My ass. Although the "better than Xbox" comparisons are making me laugh. I've played both DC Shenmue II and Xbox Shenmue II. Which one runs better? Xbox. Which one has antialiasing? Xbox. Hilarious. Sadly, the Xbox version's antialiasing can make the game blurry at times, but nothing horrible. But the Dreamcast was a far more capable machine than the Sony fangirls would like to admit.

@Amebixfan Manhunt was on the DC? I can't find anything on it...

But yeah, in retrospect the DC's graphics really looked so much better than all the blurry and messy games you got on the PS2. The super nice textures and full screen anti aliasing has really aged the games well.

Listen, faggot: ps2, gamecube, xbox were all clearly superior to the Dreamcast graphically. HOWEVER, graphics do not the best system make, otherwise I'd like my 360 better than my Wii, and every other system I own better than my Sega Genesis. But it ain't so. It's the games, and how much you're into them, etc. PS: There is a life beyond video games you nerds
