i have a female pastore bergamasco... she's so lovely, so tender, so full of love and so SINCERE! btw it's an incredible dog, they really have the sheep attraction in their blood

Oops, replied twice...not very good at this. What's funny is, I am part Italian and my husband is a Swiss citizen. Yes, I thought they came from you! I'll try to join the forum, yahoo groups, bergamasco talk, but I warn you I'm not great with computer skills.... I do love to see videos and pics of other Bergamasco dogs and would love to chat with other owners, so I'll try it! thanks, ellen.

Hello! We got Dante from Rimbalzo in Georgia; Lydia and Vince, about 4 years ago. He is the most wonderful beastie (I call him a little man in a dog suit) I've ever known. He completely has my heart, so it's a good thing he is so sweet. Playful, smart ... I would even go so far as to say ... articulate. (Can you tell I am utterly smitten?) And, of course, so beautiful. He is a mostly silvery gray with blackish brown in some areas. I'll ask my family to help me get photos from my phone online.

They are Bergamascos. I have one named Dante; he's the most amazing & fun & intelligent dog I've ever known! Look 'em up. Not many in this country, a rare breed, but SO worth the effort! Never getting another kind of dog again.

Hello! I'll have to ask my kids or my husband how to get photos from my phone onto the computer... We got him from Lydia (Rimbalzo) in Georgia. Dante is 4 years old (last month). Dante is simply the best dob, ever. Couldn't have found a better match for us, and I have never been so in love with, well, I could say anyone but my family would take it personally. I will say, for sure, that no other dog has come close.
