Keira Knightley Domestic Violence Advert 2009

Hey youtube people.
I was watching "Britains Next Top Model" on mondays on LivingTV, and one of the girls on the programme had to do an ad campaign on domestic violence (which she's experienced.) I found it a rather upsetting subject, but wanted to find out more about it, so I googled "Domestic violence" and it came up with this advert. I find this advert moving and think it really gives the viewer an insight on domestic violence.

It's a shame we have to use 'celebrity' status to bring the horror of domestic violence to the publics attention; really moving yet disgustingly realistic, wake up people.

I think this adert is really good, but it isn't just women who suffer from domestic abuse. The charity should probably be for men and women, not just women.

If there are any men who are suffering from Domestic Violence then the charity Mankind are able to help you (uk). I just wanted to say that since men are more likely to suffer in silence. This is a great advert and kudos to keira knightly

what was that? It was distirbing and horrible, and gross...poor old kiera, i no its not real, but women lyk that suffer things similar all the time....horrible...get rid of it...but i guess thats the point of adverts :S to make u realise

Domestic violence...makes me shudder in fear and disgust. How can people do that to one another? This is an issue that needs to be widespread and dealt with.
