  • That is not one of the blowers used on the Big Organ in the Hall, the Midmer Losh.

  • @tempetiger Yep. My RT-3 looked like that until I changed out the caps. And you're right on the A-100.

A friend of mine has one too, looks like we have a match. Thanks for confirming this- I really thought it

looked a little odd, especially with the oiler cups, caps and all...

  • @dieselheart001

Looks exactly like the wiring of my A-100 model Hammond!

  • Why are the internals of a Hammond tonewheel organ shown in here? That's what is showing at 2:26 to 2:44, with the scrolling caption "The wiring used would girdle the earth twice". For the Midmer Losh, yes. For a Hammond, maybe a few miles at least...

  • @MrAlex413x Ok just informatively, i will list some of the stops that i hear clearly being used for the pedal. First, there is a principal chorus (meaning , a variety of 16' 8' 4' Diapasons, and at least one mixture) Then there is at least one 16' foot reed, and an 8 foot one as well. I am not sure if a 4' one is in there, but it is possible. In the last chord, i believe a 32' diapason is used.

Thats just a very general description of the stops used in the pedal in the vid.

  • @Ntalikeris666 yes generally in the piece and in the pedal , im aware that you mite fill this box up with all the stops that have been used ! haha :p

    thanks

  • @MrAlex413x You mean generally in the piece heard?

There are quite many stops involved.

  • what "stop" or pipe is being used in the pedal for this vid ??

  • You can visit and possibly play it at the moment. You should look on the ACCHOS website, where they have tour dates and information on them!

  • How long will it take to get that organ restored, I would like to visit one day!
