In honor of the release of the 3:10 TO YUMA remake, here's a short trailer I did (several years ago) for the original film.

  • something about this movie sounds so dang modern...it must be the narrator of the trailor, they still use him for movie trailor narration!

  • His name is Jonathan Cook.

  • Thanks for that info.

I had a look at Jonathan Cook's website, but I couldn't listen to any of his promos or commercials, because I don't have ( and don't intend to download ) Real Player or Winamp Media Player.

  • Super nice guy...talks like that in real life.

  • @rwf121202 I grew up watching Glen Ford movies as a kid-i must have seen 3:10 to Yuma a dozen times-they would show it all the time on the late show-He was a very good actor-

  • Jonathan Kent. Superman's father is actually Ben Wade the outlaw?! Gasp!!

  • @heusker I think this isn't the original narration for the trailer. There is no way.

  • christian bale and russell crowe are good actors but glenn ford van heflin and richard jaeckel outclass them all the way. the original was THE movie. the remake was okay but love the first one.

  • they should remake some more good westerns

  • i definitely like the remake better i mean its just so epic

  • @mrgbennet

No offense but i think you're just one of those people who always say

    "THE ORIGINAL IS BETTER"

  • @altaboyd it seems that whatever version people see first they consider it better.

  • @altaboyd . Yes I understand that Ben was seeing the world in a new light but come on! There were many other things that were so dumb that I really don’t even try to remember. I will say that I have never saw a remake that had so many of the same exact lines from the original in it. I know the original lines very, very good. And over and over the new one used them. Like I said the Script was excellent in the original.

I am sill looking for the movie version of the song 3:10 to Yuma on CD.
