Part two of three.
Individual boss comments:
Frost Walrus: Just when you thought it couldn't get worse. I'm not going to bother commenting on this food bag. We play nice for a while.
Split Mushroom: A cut above the other seven... significantly so. This is probably the hardest boss to fight with Zero outside of Sigma, although there is an easy way out of it. To avoid his completely unscripted, chaotic waltz across everything entailing the screen, hug the top wall and wait for him to repeat the soul body attack after an eternity. If you want it done TODAY, you'd better be on shrooms yourself. This spaz is bad enough when he and his copy are jumping around with arbitrary speed. When they start bouncing off the walls (haha... so witty) and spewing their noxious crap everywhere, it becomes an exercise in eye bleeding to stay out of their way. Add in Zero's necessary close proximity and the fact that one of the copies can switch to running when he damn well pleases, and you have one very pissed off player.
Colonel: You can't really call this battle challenging. What you can call it is intense as hell. The Colonel shows off why he can keep up with Zero through atrocious cutscenes in this fight, and he's all over the place. His attacks are nothing special. It's staying out his way that provides the trouble. I always like to go psychotic with Zero when I battle the Colonel. It's my favorite fight in the game, and the funnest. My one regret is he didn't get to shout GROUNNNNND WAAAAAAAAAAAVE.
Iris: Iris is an easy battle. Like many in this game, it all falls on finding a consistent pattern. Once you do, repeat ad nauseam and you can't lose. I chose what I suppose is a sad song for a tender battle. Poor Zero... I don't know how he'll find the strength he needs to push forw- HYAH HUH YEAH YEAH HUH!! ... oh.
General: I'll never understand the massive hate this battle gets when done with Zero. He's just... not difficult. Playing chicken with his hands is pretty iffy, but it's not like you can't wait it out and attack him on his slowass way around the room if you need to. And if you want to get it over with quickly, dodging him when climbing the hands isn't TOO daunting anyway.
Tracks used, in order:
Mahavishnu Orchestra - Meeting Of The Spirits
Tommy Emmanuel - The Hunt
Joe Satriani - Chords of Life
Andy McKee - Rylynn
Joe Satriani - Hill Groove
im going to go ahead and guess the iris joke in the descrip is a sex joke...

I know it's a bit late, but why not? Replies on youtube tend to be late anyways.
After that oh so emotional battle, Zero is pretty much back to normal. Since EVERY time you jump he yells something out (Usually HUH or YEAH), and there's alot of jumping involved afterwards, he goes right back to the "HUH, YEAH, HUH, YE-YEAH-YEAH YEAH" routine.
Gets a little annoying after awhile.
