Friday Night Smackdown returns to pick up the pieces after Night of Champions shattered the VWWE Universe.
First up Nikki Bella goes one on one with the new Womens Champion, Angel in the opening bout. Following on from that, the Hart Dynasty look to bounce back from their Night of Champions night of shattered dreams as they take on the Hall of Pain: Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson. The number one contender spot for the Cruiserweight Championship is on the line in the next match as Chavo Guerrero, Primo, Rey Mysterio and Yoshi Tatsu face off in a fatal 4 way match. A Night of Champions rematch takes place next as CM Punk looks to prove he can beat Dolph Ziggler in a one on one match. Finally, tonight's main event sees former allies Edge and Randy Orton go head to head in a one on one match.
