I was happy when I read that Jean Hagen got oscar nominated for her role of Lina Lamont because she was the funniest one in the movie.

Donald O'Connor won the Golden Globe for his role as Cosmo and his Make 'em Laugh number is iconic and renowned as the best musical comedy number ever filmed. Pure Genius!!!!!
