Raramuri 4/4

40-year-old Michelle Frost from London is travelling to northern Mexico to stay with the Raramuri, an ancient tribe who live perched on the edge of the spectacular Copper Canyon. Although bright, bubbly and self-assured on the surface, Michelle suffers from a crippling lack of self-confidence, which she feels is hampering her chances of meeting a partner. Initially frustrated with the simplicity of life with the tribe, as events unfold Michelle realises that life with the Raramuri is far from uncomplicated.

@raulsaenz Pues la verdad es que subo lo que encuentro, y de comunidades indígenas y cómo viven actualmente no hay mucho, he buscado algo acerca de los Huicholes, que son los que más se ven en mi región sin éxito. Si sabes de algo avísame plis. Saludos

Of course, the "sick" little girl disappeared. They disappeared her so no one would examine her. The father was very quick to say that she had been "hexed or something" yeah right.

I loved this documental and I could realize how the Raramuri comunity lives. But I wonder, Michelle got so much from them, in terms of simplicity of life and I guess this experience helped her a lot spiritually, but did she give something in return? I mean it's obvious that these people are in need of sooo much help, economically, and I bet they have to sacrifice something from their pocket to host Michelle into their house.

Loved the documentary. I admire the Raramuri people and definitely admire Michelle for her braveness to leave her well-being home and experience the humble yet happy life of these tribes.
