Prime minister Raila Odinga is accusing finance minister Uhuru Kenyatta and his forestry counterpart Noah Wekesa of deliberate ignorance of parliaments decision to compensate all landowners with title deeds irrespective of the size of their land but Raila has only served to create more confusion on the issue of compensation, with the finance minister having said there would be none for major landowners and the government spokesman saying that the government had agreed to pay out 1 billion shillings in compensation and resettlement. Mutuas statement incidentally echoes that of agriculture minister William Ruto. It would appear that the government has either got no position on compensation of Mau evictees or has three different positions on the same issue.
why are africans destroying their land with europeanism?

if there is 'proof of purchase' then tell us who sold the land in Mau which is govt property. The seller shoulld then be forced to return the money to the to the buyers...but first lets temporarily resettle the poor evictees.
