Pure digital specializes in easy to use, and easy to pocket, camcorders. In this case, both the Ultra and the Mino are of the HD variety and produce very similar looking video. However, the Ultra HD has the most recent flip video engine yielding slightly better video and a lower a price. It is however much more bulky than the Mino HD which retails for $30 more.
