I would like put everyones fears of it's release date to rest. Arenanet is really pushing for a november release date, you can already preorder the game. Now I know that it is not official as in it might be pushed back, but if anything I think the latest it will be pushed back is December. I know this because you can preorder it at gamestop and this is what they said.... why would you not be able to preorder it if it does not come out soon?

@l337tub yes u are able to preorder it but there is no release date atm, the closed beta will be in this year around november december, after that Arenanet will announce the release date of GW2 but still after closed beta u will be able to play with open beta , and if everything goes right GW2 will be released on the Q1 of 2012

Actually, I'm not, despite not having played WoW for about 3 months now. You see, this city looks very pretty, but it just doesn't look vey believable to me. Lion's Arch seems to be a pirate town by the looks of it, like Tortage in Age of Conan or WoW's Booty Bay. And I prefer both of those over this one, massively. Why? I can imagine people living in those cities. With Lion's Arch I get a very big theme park feel, as if I walk around in Disneyland instead of a real, living city

@l337tub I would just like to point out that amazon had it for preorder before Gamestop, with a release date of Novemeber….. of last year. Until Arena Net says something don’t trust anything you hear, especially from someone asking for your money, even if it’s a retailer.

@zachyboy13528 those will prolly come out in the expansion pack, i bet there will be a nightfall and factions expansion pack, and maybe, the 3rd expansion we never got to see..
