@leonarddaccardi Hey, Leonard! I don't know who was in charge of styling, but a check on Buick history revealed that Ed Rollert became the head of Buick at the time. They had serious slippage in sales at the time, and it was his mission to improve quality control, which he did. Thanks! :) Jack

the styling cues and details of this car are outstanding. the front actually looks like the back. so the overall impression is a complete flow of dramatic line. a eye catching classic. wish i knew who the designer was. sadly, they don't make them like that anymore.

@Jimboyc21 Hey, Jimboy21! I remember a coworker had one of these back in the day, but it was a hardtop! It always stood out as quite different and elegant! Thanks! :) Jack

What a rare car! OMG this is the bees knees! Thanks to the owner for keeping this baby alive. Fantastic. And this was mid size in the day.
my dad would have never liked the 60 Buick, he's too conservative.. 60 Buicks are so beautiful, I've owned mine 20 years now and I am still so in love with her styling.. whether its a 2 door sedan LeSabre hot rod, or a 4 door hardtop boulevard cruiser with skirts, there is no other like them..

@trumpet45s There's no question about it...this car was not for the stylistic conservative. I think the fins are clearly so symbolic of an airplane wing...the whole car appears as though it could take flight! Glad you have one! Thanks! :) Jack

My father had a 1960 around 1964-65. His was white with red & white interior. It was gorgeous. And I mean gorgeous. Convertible too. In '64 my dad was 36 years old. I was 9. But I still remember the girls ( ages maybe 15-18) going crazy when they saw that car. Damn, if I only still had that car.

@Kenoman29 That truly is what this channel is all about..bringing back pleasant memories of cars and the people you associate them with! I'm glad I could be a part of that! Thanks! :) Jack

@raconter1 Jack, thanks for commenting on my post. I really thought it would fall upon deaf ears. No harm intended I assure you. Especially reading my post so damn fast! Anyway, what I said was true. It was a gorgeous car. My dad had a '55 Olds 98 before that, and a '64 Buick Electra after the LeSabre. But that white '60.....wow, and I mean wow. I think the '59 looked a bit familiar, but damn that '60. It was SUPERIOR. My dad is 83 now living in Florida with no knowledge of computers.

@Kenoman29 Your dad had really good taste in cars...a friend had a 55 Olds 98 in high school...it was his parents' car and I think he had "unofficial races" with another friend's 55 Chevy (also his parents' car). Both are deceased now, but it illustrates how much we connect people we've known with the cars they drove. A neighbor had a white 63 Electra convertible...a beautiful machine! I'm sorry your dad can't easily enjoy the video. Thanks! :) Jack
