Boogie Woogie : Jorg Hegemann - "Wall Street Diver"

Piece performed at the Boogie Woogie Congress in Essen Germany, March 2008.

Jorg Hegemann is a fantastic exponent of Boogie Woogie piano playing, with a real crowd-pleasing style that always gets audiences literally whopping with delight.

Jorg announced this piece as "Wall Street Diver" and went on to say that he wrote it as a tribute to the great pianist Albert Ammons, whose wonderful style of Boogie Woogie playing has had such a great influence and inspiration in Jorg's own work.

At around 8 minutes in length, this is powerhouse Boogie at it's very best!

one of the best of all time : i've been listening too boogie woogie for 30 years and this has to be in the top 5 ! superb and what a tribute to the greats Albert Ammons: i wish someone had recorded this in hd video with even better sound : travel champio was there any film/video crew there bar you and your trusty videophone ( for which i thank you again ! )
