@3dartistguy This reminds me of the 1970s series "Space: 1999". By the way, they're updating that series and placing it 100 years after the original. It's now titled "Space: 2099", just so you know.

@howellfilm He went on to win Oscar after Oscar for Star Wars, Superman, Schindler's List, Raiders of the Lost Ark, et al. That "Johnny Williams" is none other than the legendary John Williams.

I could see this music being used for a more adult version of LiS. One without the evil Dr. Smith character as was the initial Erwin Allen idea. As a child I watched LiS but even then i thought how much better it would have been without the Smith character. That's probably why I preferred ST. It had an atmosphere of respect for the characters and the universe it was set in.

you really think they had a more atmosphere of respect for the characters even after episodes like "Spock's Brain" or "Turnabout intruder"? I will admit LIS strayed off course in the second year, but the first year was the best, with the third season the second best, and second was the worst, just like the worsyt year for Star trek was the third year...and really Dr Smith is no different than Harry Mudd, a scheming, greedy buffoon.
