TIM RUSSERT-

Entertainment Tonight at Tim Russert's funeral in Washington DC Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Presidential hopefuls McCain and Obama attended the private service at Georgetown's Holy Trinity Catholic Church as did a who's who of news network anchors, reporters, politicians and celebrities. Tim's son Luke presented the eulogy, challenging everyone to love their families as much as Tim Russert loved his. TV cameras were not allowed in the private ceremony.

A public service was held at the Kennedy Center. Tom Brokaw gave a moving eulogy for the much missed political broadcaster. TV cameras were permitted to film.

Also included in this video is a section on a premonition that Maureen Orth, Tim's wife, had of his impending death.

  • Tim was a class act and that he is still and always will be missed!

  • If that's what you think of Tim Russert, you don't know anything about him. I'll miss you dearly, Mr. Russert.

  • @ArrowJFH ...lol, very good, I guess if I lived in a bubble instead of the real world I'd feel the same about me.

  • @911insidejo8 words can't describe your level of ignorance.

  • It speaks volumes that reporters, politicians, religious figures, coworkers & constituents from all points on the spectrum of the social, political, racial & religious compass respected and held Russert in such high regard personally & professionally unlike Beck, Rush,Hannity or Maher.Sure, he made a lot of money but there is a price for quality and that is just what he brought. I think without him the quality has gone down significantly of both Meet the Press and the network he worked at.

  • @thomasuras ...no, people should remember that he made millions serving the predatory ruling class and that he was not some sort of American rock star hero. Also that he had some kind of combination of no discernment, no care for the proletariats of the world, no courage, self-centeredness. Like Limbaugh, Hannity, Maher, Olbermann, Beck and all the controlled mouthpieces, he sold his soul for a dollar, hope it buys him a nice air conditioner in hell.

  • @sturmluger ...he sure was, and I'm so sick of how the media portrays him as some sort of hero when, like almost all media mouthpieces, he was paid millions to play along with the sharade that the 2-party dictatorship only bickers bc they are trying to figure out how to best serve the American people. And then watching the dumb peasantry play along.

Now fatty junior is set up to continue the family tradition.

  • I Believe This Was A Video Clip Of Entertainment Tonight's Report On Tim Russert Funeral: Son Luke Gives Moving Eulogy On June 18, 2008.

  • Something is very wrong about this story. I think he was poisoned that day.

  • Tim Russert: He was a good man in tradition with the family plan (to quote an early Elton John song:-).

  • he was a piece of fat crap

  • bring back the free chocolate for a gift? was Tim Jewish?
