A Message to Capello

Michael Owen is close to reaching the century mark in caps for England, however, there might be a huge barrier in the form of Fabio Capello. If recent evidence stays true to form, Owen will have limited opportunities to not only reach 100 appearances, but also his chance at surpassing the record for most goals scored by an England international. This is a friendly reminder, or better yet, forty friendly reminders to why the inclusion of Michael Owen is necessary.

he was still good enough to pop one in against my team this week- but then my team are Wigan Athletic, not Brazil- and we're still ahead of the toon in the table. I like Newcastle fans but their team has been run into the ground by short-sighted management and the shittest boardroom in the league. Owen is still a decent premiership striker, but no longer international class.
