Nice hack. I have one of these inverter/CCFL lamp units. it came from an old flatbed scanner . I made it into an emergency light with a switch and a 12V car lighter plug and it works great.

Not long ago i bough a LCD Screen with inverter card for 50 $, i tho about use it for some project!
But i dont know anything about voltage and and specification of the cables, i dont want to frie this screen up, any information would be useful for me!
I have one very important question, how many Volt and Amp was that power adapter u plugged in to the wall?
I have ides to make it to a 2nd monitor!
