I LOVE Cynthia Clawson, and I LOVE this song. This song was written by Bill and Gloria Gaither with Aaron Wilburn. The voices that you hear in the background is Russ Taff and Sonya Isaacs

Lyrics: (written by Bill and Gloria Gaither, and Aaron Wilburn)

someone said, that in each life
some rain is bound to fall
and each one sheads his share of tears
and trouble, troubles us all,
but the hurt, can't hurt forever
and the tears are sure to dry.

and it won't rain always
the clouds will soon be gone
the sun that they've been hiding
have been there all along
and it wont rain always
God's promises are true
the suns gonna shine
in His own good time
and He's gonna see you through
the suns gonna shine
in God's own good time
and he will see you through

  • Hi there... I heard Cynthia for the first time on an old cassette tape way back in the early 80's... It was given to me by a friend and he wanted me to learn the song on this tape..and the song was, "Bring Back The New Again" Have you ever heard it? or know where I can get it?...Thank you!...And thank you for posting her...she sings so smooth!...Love the ministering that comes from her.

  • This is my favorite song by Cynthia. I love the catch in her voice and the wonderful harmonies. I could listen to this over and over and never tire of it!

  • It's a good song. This lady ( Cynthia) has a certain phrasing of the lyrics which I like

  • What a pure and beautiful voice. Makes me want to cry, just listening.

  • I saw Cynthia perform "God calling" at the Crystal Cathedral about 17 years ago. By the end of the song, I felt as though I would explode. It was pulverizing. I will never, ever forget it. The entire congregation was floored. I was speechless, as I'm confident there wasn't a dry eye in the cathedral

  • I have heard of her a little bit...I forget where though...

  • your cousin??

  • shes my cousin
