  • While the characters were key in the story, you can be sure the monsters will outshine them all! How can even Laurie Holden compare to a giant spider with a human face!

  • my kids and i enjoyed it

  • Yes she is!!!

  • The Mist was my favorite short story growing up. I'm so excited.

  • The Mist is a good example of what horror movies should be like today, not slasher movie copy cats and low budget sucky remakes.

  • I'm sure I'm not the only one whose a little worried that we haven't seen much in the way of early promotion. I mean, the film is coming out in less than 3 months, and we haven't even seen a teaser trailer, let alone an official theater poster (love the Drew Struzan poster, but I figure that's not what I'll see at the multiplex). This is my most anticipated film to see-I want Darabont to scare me, like I was reading this story when I was 16. I have a wild imagination.

  • haha I love Thomas Jane:)

  • I read this story/novella over 20 years ago, and have been waiting for it to be made into a film since.

When I heard the director say it's character driven, I almost lost hope. Thank G0D that special effects dude spoke!

I want these creatures to be OVER THE TOP. I don't want another talk fest psuedo-horror flick, /i want the monsters to be as freaky as they were in print.

but since Frank Darabont did direct The Green Mile (1999) & The Shawshank Redemption (1994) , I just can't wait!!
