Minster Lovell Hall in the village of Minster Lovell in Oxfordshire was built by Lord Lovell in 1440.
The ruins of Minster Lovell Hall are said to be haunted by the ghost of of Lord Lovell. The hall had a secret room where Lord Lovell was hiding and this room required a servant to open it but his servant died and he became trapped in this secret room.
Only many years later was the skeleton of Lord Lovell discovered during renovations. His skeleton was said to be still seated at his desk with a book and his dog at his feet. The workmen reported that the skeleton crumbled to dist before their eyes and it is said that the ghostly moans of Lord Lovell can still be heard around the stones at night.
You will find Minster Lovell Hall by passing through the church yard in Minster Lovell. This video contains the images we filmed during our visit but despite a very eerie feel to the place we did not hear or see any ghosts.
Maybe by watching this short video, you will see something we missed.
