TC Campus Quiz '11 - Bangalore Finals : Part 1

He came. He saw. He conquered are the words of a young quizzer Revati who described Tata Crucible and Pickbrain after a stunning experience of quizzing. With close to 200 teams this certainly was a pot boiler from the word go.

The finalists were
Christ University : Rituraj & Vinay
SBMJC-CMS : Prahalad & Ms.Greeshma
ICAI : Vinay & Mohit
NLS: Pranav & Varun Raju
IISC : Nishanth Goyal & Melon Joe
SJCC : Sahir Khan & Keith Castelino




As the final unfolded NLS started strongly with a few quick boundaries as Christ University and ICAI caught up soon. In the second over, a very quick presence of mind by ICAI to push for a power play helped them with a super six that proved so important at the end of the day.

As NLS tried to push ahead they lost a few runs while Christ did well to hang in but did get a negative that they recovered from quickly while ICAI started consolidating their position and got themselves past 40 runs.

In the final over ICAI just held on their nerve and clinched the title despite some lusty blows by Christ which certainly got them close but not past the winner.
