@Cloudstrife1188 yeah, and the old eclipse had the same engine as the evo 8, which had 400bhp, so it was really fast, and the gsx could corner a lot quicker then some overweight v12

well.. this version of the eclipse sucks... i dont like the designe and all the other stuff...

i like my older version that i drive.. (Eclipse D 22A Diamond from 1992).

It may have out sold every Eclipse before it. I'm just saying that sooner or later people are going to wise up to the fact that the 4G Eclipse is nothing but a dressed up 2 door Galant for kids.

As far as being as fast as a RX-8, I'm not sure about that. The 4G Eclipse GT isn't a sports car. It's sporty but its not a dedicated sprots car like the RX-8.

The eclipse is not a dying class lmao. This 4G outsold every other eclipse.... And idk if you noticed, the GT model is faster than an RX8. Just that its not RWD. If mitsu does not give it AWD and turbo, its going to die yes. But for its time, its a really good sporty car.

That would be a 3000GT VR4 not an Eclipse. The way I see it, the 5G Eclipse should become something to go against the 370Z, Genesis Coupe or RX-8. The only thing that really comes close to competition is the Tiburon and that will be out of production soon. Lets face it the Eclipse is in a dying class. Don't think that I hate the Eclipse, I own one, but times are changing.
