Cool zombie video! Nice shots and killer opening. One thing missing? A better sound scape and music to drive the action and mask some of the soundmix. Good, effective FX and stark lighting helps a great deal. LOVE the use of the security cam!

@avjoe Thanks very much Joe, sorry it's taken me so long to reply, but I didn't get a notification that you had posted, so just stumbled across this. Definitely agree in terms of sound scape, it's been the improvement-needed commented on most I think, and so I've been watching films non-stop to try and learn how to structure it, when to start music etc. Hopefully my research will have a rewarding effect on my next film. Once again, thanks for your comments, it means a lot!

great video, beginning bit really sets the scene for the film, great opening 20 seconds. How did you get the blood to look so realistic? i've been trying and trying but i never can make it look as dark as you got it in your film.

Sorry for the lateness of the reply. Thanks a lot :) We used golden syrup, chocolate sauce, blue food colouring and red food colouring. There's no exact measures, so just keep going to you get it right, we tested this by drizzling it onto our hands.

Unbelievable!

This movie is beat any zombie movie (not the Romero's movies and the remakes) But i missed the music. With a Resident Evil game soundtrack would be better. And too short :S

I think the soundtrack is the one thing we have to improve on, we used music throughout at various points but possibly not enough and for some reason on youtube, it has come across a lot quieter than the DVD.

Unfortunately we had a time constraint put on us as well as it was for a university module.
