Shining Time Station was one of my personal favorite shows growing up as a kid. And everyone, this is the very first time that I've watched the Thomas story "Saved From Scrap" with Ringo Starr's narration! Mr. Conductor was always my favorite character. Ringo and even the late George Carlin were both very excellant as Mr. Conductor.

You know, the story "Saved From Scrap" sounds similar. I heard George Carlin's version on the "Thomas and His Friends Help Out" videotape, but I never heard Ringo Starr's version in this episode before.

@Waterflame Neither did I. But I heard that George Carlin played Mr. Conductor after the Christmas special "Tis a Gift" which was before Ringo left the show and Carlin's Mr. Conductor was introduced in the episode "Scare Dares."
