The Passing Off The Square is held annually during FYOP as a performance check of First Years College knowledge taught over the five weeks of FYOP. All first years must successfully complete the routine before being accepted into the Cadet Wing during ex-cadet weekend. The Passing Off the Square consists of three components: uniform inspection, basic drill, and College knowledge.
