News flash: Elk are hunted in Colorado. However, the hunting is managed to keep the number of elk in balance with the habitat, not driving them to extinction. Division of wildlife would have no revenue and nothing to do otherwise, and people come from all over the country to hunt elk, contributing quite a bit to the economy. Perhaps you should limit your comments to things you know at least a little bit about.

if we hunt them they wouldn't be running all over the roads. give me a break with the save the animals crap.

Apparently the folks sponsoring this add not only don't think protection of wildlife is a worthwhile use for public funds, they are so clueless that they don't realize that elk or deer on the highway represent a significant hazard to human drivers.
