this makes me...cry for the first time in a while my mom passed away of cancer 2 years ago- she was a hardworking , good mother, but im not usre if she prayed, i dotn kno if she fully walked with god* (she was catholic) i cried and prayed god would take pitty on her and bring her to him. Im just wondering- what can i do to help my moms soul reach heaves gates. *she didnt do anything bad, but she wasnt perfect. can prayer from me help her?

I used to ask the same thing , because reading the bible i realize yes god loves us, and when he punishes us that doesnt mean he doesnt love us- hes trying to teach us how to live well, like whe na parent punishes their child for swearing by puttign soap in their mouth. Dont treat god like a pushover, when god damns you to hel its not him punishign you- hes giving you what you want - a life without jesus- and in hell is where jesus is not.
