I remember these from nursery school back in 1984. The teacher had all the letter people balloons and each week we'd learn a new letter. She'd play the song then give us a drawing to of the letter person to color.

I'm now 30. I'm an Alabama native and watched this show around 1986. I love The Letter People! :)

@PandorazRox ill be 32 next month and i been watching this since my 2nd year in kindergarten. if it werent for the letter people i have no idea where i would be. they thought i was retarded before they tried the letter people experiment on me lol

I don't think we watched these in kindergarten since they were almost 20 years old when I started school in 1990, but I had the letter people records and I played them to death. Hope I still have them somewhere even though they're probably scratched to hell haha

I'm 32, was in kindergarten in 1983. We had the blow up letter people also. And I'm from Louisiana, so yall weren't the only ones with them.
