ELD Student Voices Part One

An educational video that tells the true story of five immigrant students from Baldwin Park, California who passed the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) after being in this country for less than three years. Every year almost 76% of students who take this exam in California do not pass and will not receive their high school diploma until they do so. These amazing students are part of a group of 20 of 21 that passed it. This accomplishment is due to their hard work, drive, determination and the support they received from the outstanding ELD Department and the caring efforts of the faculty at Baldwin Park High School.
