The EU has already goe much too far in dictating how folks should live, and its power should be scaled back.

@RWT683 "Obviously from the context he is talking about Europe"-No, he is talking about the European Parliament. The video clip is taken out of context and mistranslated on purpose. He is not saying that the EU is adopting 75% of all the laws in Europe (AKA for the STATES), he is saying that the EP (under the co-decision procedure adopted with the Lisbon treaty) plays now a part in 75% of all legislative procedures within the EU.

He said Europe. You are correct he did not say legislator of 75% of laws he said legislator in 75% of cases, but the difference is not significant.
If you are from Germany I guess you still need to learn German.

For those MEP's to boo, cat-call and eventually walk out when they are told a few home truths by a visiting President in a mild & calm manner, is a real disgrace. If people want proof of just autocratic this eu project has become then this is a good example. When Nigel Farage gave Rumpoy a deserved hard time there was uproar in the uk media BUT this sort of behaviour is not even shown at all! To see some real facts YOUTUBE is the place to look. Anybody who is pro-eu is dull & clueless....

They are a disrespectful lot, even if you don't agree with the speaker, at least show courtesy and listen to what they have to say. So much for "do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
