This is a great clip about how hair metal cheesed out and whored to the label weasels for the almighty $$. Just as happened next with country, and then the TRUE talents of recorded music, the Rappers!

I really feel bad the J. Lane beats himself down for that LAME song.
It may be lame, but a lotta peeps love it and enjoy it, he should just focus on that. I recorded a few songs that I thought sukt, that fans liked, tho I didn't do them under weasel pressure, just lazy!

  • cherry pie was a good pop song imo. probably a thousand times better than any shit-hop, gag gag, emo, etc song.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork

    You have a point.

I utterly wrote off Warrant after it came out, though I'd mostly laughed at them after they were busted for not having the chops to play the leads on their 1st 2 albums..

You have a point for sure:

As lame as this song is, it makes rap, emo, boy band, lable constructs sound even more lame ass

  • i suggest everyone watch the documantary that this is taken from. its called the story of metal and starts with sabbath and ends with limb bizkit, it cool to see the decline

  • @Missbarbossa

Limp Bizshit is a damn good 'period' to put at then end of that time line.

    lmao

    Really?

    You're sober and writing that?

If you can seriously say Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, for example, don't have TALENT?!

If you can play an instrument or compose better than any of those artists, put an album out.

  • Hair metal didn't die, thrash metal killed the shit out of it!

  • Who the hell is Dee Snider to talk? Twisted Sister? Really? The "metal" band that did a cover of "Leader of the Pack"? Not exactly the most gifted bunch in the world! LOL! Hell....if it weren't for Nikki Sixx.....Mark "The Animal" Mendoza would be the worst bassist on the planet!!

  • i think its fuckin HILARIOUS how pantera started out as hair metal and then said fuck that gay ass shit and pretty much saved metal in the 90s along with megadeth and slayer

  • I feel sorry for dude, good song though

  • wooo you really get mad, i didn't want to insutl you, but you know that what i said it's the thruth

  • what was so great about twisted sister, nothing, shut up dee

  • janie didn't need to say all that. ridiculous. other acts like mr big and bon jovi get off scott free. those are the ones that deserve a sincere ass kicking.

  • @Lodestar1977 you mean interesting web page? only janie lane knows if he's a sellout or not. i wouldn't call this music bad. the shitty stuff was like winger, motley crue, bon jovi, mr big, tesla, and all that gay ass cowboy fuckcrap. i can't fault the party rock guys other than poison used way too much makeup. i felt they did some decent pop/rock n roll otherwise.
