Police Break Up A Fight In Church & Arrest Pastor

The pastor of this North Carolina church was removed from his position and was not allowed to enter the church facility due to a court order filed by some of the members. The removal of Pastor Lavonia is what led to a full-blown fist fight last Sunday at Greater New Zion Baptist Church.

A criminal summons dated December 19, 2010 charges Ray with second-degree trespassing. The summons lists Greater New Zion Baptist Church Treasurer Betty Garner as the complainant.

Pastor LeVonia Ray was charged with trespassing after he entered the church December 19th without authorization, the summons says, adding that Ray was notified by attorney Rick Daniels that he was not to return to the church.

I feel like the preacher is to blame for alot of this fighting because he should have not pushed the issue ...knowing that some of the people DID NOT WANT him to pastor anymore he should have been a "LEADER" and stood up and took the vote for what it was and wished the church well and LEAVE ! Don't come into the house of GOD and cause a rite !

oh lord this is not good thing but these ppl need 2 changed their behavier in church but the paster in that church have no teaching ppl right thing but teaching all the God children wrong all these members in that Church need find a good pastor nor find a good church
