For ten years, Sheldon Nadelman took thousands of black and white photographs while bartending at the Terminal Bar, Times Square's most notorious watering hole of the 1970s. Murray Goldman, the bar's owner since 1957 was Sheldon's father-in-law as well as the filmmaker's grandfather.
In 2002 the 22 minute short film "Terminal Bar" was released with a "to be continued" promise in the end credits.
And so this is it. The next installment. It's meant to be a vignette but part of the ongoing Terminal Bar project. The interviews of Sheldon were shot in the year 2000 and 2007.

Very interesting film but isn't there a legal issue with showing all these people and identifying them as pimps, hookers, etc. ? It seems like kind of an invasion of privacy and there's no way they have given permission.

@SvenClavo Probably nowhere. I don't know who this "Zved" guy is, but he's like a hero to me. All of his work from this to latin alive to whatever, it's always amazing. Fucking Jesus.

This is great. I first saw Terminal Bar on holiday in Mexico in 2004 but not in its entirety, so unfortunately didn't know what it was called to buy it. Found it in the end on Resfest DVD. I'm going to have to look for this too. Brilliant work.
