The first time isaw "A Christmas Story" I thought Ralpie might be the kid from the old Bob gregory commercial. Bet this is where the got the idea to make his little brother look like "a tick that was ready to pop".

I loved this classic commercial from WTHR Channel 13. The following commercial was aired in the Winter of 1978. WTHR Indianapolis -- with Chief Meteorologist Bob Gregory -- was a part of the ABC Television Network Family during the early part of 1978. Poor Kid!! A Fascinating 6!!
