please buy the game (I dont know if the game is abandonware)

In this game you are a samurai, and for win the game, you must gain honor and lands with battles or rise up the taxes (rice). Your hatamoto will see your actions and the actions of your rivals, and when he die (for natural death or murder), the most capable will be the new hatamoto...
The final objective of the game is to be the new Shogun and to unify Japan.

You can also get married and have with your wife children (your empire need a heir) and when you retire for your advanced age, he will succeed you and the game continues.
The duel fights was designed for... Sid Meier ! (creator of great games as pirates or civilization)
This game is a forgotten gem, great game that mix action, strategy and RPG

Eres un samurai cuya ambición es ser el nuevo hatamoto de tus contornos... para ganar debes tener tierras y honor (entre otras cosas, también cuenta las batallas que ganes con tu ejército o los duelos ganados con la espada). El honor se ganará viajando por Japón y enfrentándose a desafíos. Las tierras se ganarán o bien porque tu superior te pida que conquistes algo o subiendo los impuestos del arroz.
Para ser el nuevo hatamoto, deberás superar a tus rivales en todos los campos (honor, tierras, etc) y cuando el hatamoto muera (ya sea por muerte natural de viejo o muerto en una batala o bien porque porque tú lo asesines) su sucesor será el más capacitado para el puesto y si eres el primero de la lista, serás el nuevo hatamoto...

También podrás casarte y tener hijos (de hecho sin hijos tu carrera en el juego será corta ya que cuando seas viejo no tendrás nadie que te suceda). Es una gema olvidada que poca gente conoce y cuelgo el juego para que lo conozcas y si puedes lo compres (desconozco si es abandonware).
De verdad, no te arrepentirás.
Como curiosidad te cuento que las escenas de duelo fueron designadas por el maestro Sid Meier, creador de grandes juegos como Civilization or Pirates. Gracias Sid.

i remember i used to play this game for hours 20 years ago.... hahahah. i was wondering if you could tell me how to save a game or file. i was able to play this again via dosbox. your help is much appreciated.

I loved this game!! You didn't just play one character. You built a dynasty, first playing a father, than a son, and so on. It had an sense of grandeur that is rarely seen in video or pc games.

no worries i f ound out how, its Alt + S (which i knew from the manual) but you can only do it when you are in your home.
