Don't know who would hero worship this guy. They should have used a bullet or let him kill himself and do the UK a damn favor. He assaulted a fucking 9 year old prior to all of this. The guy was a juiced up and roid raging prick. If you ask me, he is the perfect candidate to test the "new" taser round. And it sounds to me like he killed himself after being hit with the taser. Plus these tasers are great things. Keep a cop farther back from a suspect while tasing. AWESOME.

officer is technically not liable as they follow orders and if officers can use any reasonable justified force, why is it an issue? it was reasonable justified force wasn't it?

@Makingnewnamesisdumb Sadly, there are a lot of disenfranchised lower class white males. New Labour drove a hard 'equality' angle throughout its three term government that basically ignored this socioeconomic group at best and painted them as racists and sexists at worst, continually attempting to prop-up educational standards for females and ethnic minorities. As a result, a lot of lower class whites became heavily disenfranchised and now see 'the man' as their enemy. It's a complex issue.

@Makingnewnamesisdumb He's seen, by the undereducated, as a working class hero who fought back in tragic circumstances. Essentially, he got out of jail to find that his baby's mother had shacked up with someone whom he believed to be a police officer. Moat then attempted to murder the woman and a police officer in retribution. Throughout his escape he claimed he wouldn't harm the public and attempted to appear noble. People who want a hero to rally behind find this attractive for some reason.
