they should have changed their name. this is not nightwish that I grew up with, loving. This is not who I paid to see. No disrespect to marco, empuu, toumas .. I fucking love those cunts. Annette from dark passion play to this has changed completely, as has marco's epic voice.
I will play the album a few more times and decide wether or not I want it on my phone.
One thing is for sure though, 'Once' is the only nightwish album I am happy to play start to finish, repeatedly.

It's nice to see that they are now starting to work with their new singer's strengths. Tarja's voice was clear and high which did give them a very nice beauty and beast lyrical quality. However Annet's natural tone is more robust and there is a lot she has to bring to the table. Weather you love or hate it the fact of the matter is that every band evolves and grows. Grow up and listen to the older music if you don't like the new singer but stop being arses about it.

the magic was caused by nightwish shaping the ex singers voice which was nothing more than a wannabe opera singers voice who tries to cover all sounds that comes from her actual self.
.-considering what you said about anette..-
since it is just simple nature, every human has a unique voice and anette isn't an ordinary one..she uses her voice the way she was born with..no covering!
so...you must be a closed minded person that is unabled to hear the (very) simple differences.

@TheTrueOfReality Tarja's been gone for years now.
Also, Nightwish doesn't need saving, not to mention, Tarja couldn't do anything to improve Nightwish. She was just a singer. Unlike Marco, Toumas, Emppu, and Jukka, she never wrote a SINGLE thing for the band.
