Story:
Well, this does have a story. If you listen to the lyrics you'll understand.
Cloud thinks Tifa can do so much better Than him. So, he leaves her because of that but he misses her so much that he just can't take it anymore. In the end he dies because of it.

Note#2: Zack is it in because Cloud thinks Zack would be better for her.
Note: The scene(s) with Aerith pretend it is Tifa
