Loving the Prophet Muhammad by Dr. Abu Zayd

Dr. Abu Zayd, senior AlMaghrib Institute (www.almaghrib.org) student from New Jersey, gives a touching talk about the importance of loving the Prophet salAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam and following his path.

Dr. Abu Zayd is a medical doctor by profession, and an avid student of knowledge and teacher of various Islamic sciences. He earned his ijazah in several forms of Qur'anic recitation as well as Prophetic Hadith and other fields. He recently authored a book on the subject of Tajweed called "Children's Bequest", which is the textbook for the Tajweed learning institute he runs. He completed coursework with the American Open University, and is currently in the process of completing his certificate in Islamic Studies from AlMaghrib Institute.

In addition, he is a founding member of Young Muslims (www.ymsite.com) and a long-standing affiliate of ICNA (www.icna.org), a grassroots national organization.
