Agronomy and Chinese. LOL.

thanks I appreciate that.
I do see your point, it's just often hard to follow your most favored option.

point taken, I will give you kudos on that. There are multiple barriers that exist that present problems and it is a bit unrealistic to expect the whole of the aspiring educated classes to flock to greener (or perceived) greener pastures for a time. I see your angle.

right, because everyone can afford an overseas university, let alone the cost of moving and living there.
Anyone can go to a socialistic university and still turn out fine as long as they have their BS detector on to filter out the relevant info from the lies.

And with all due respect, if that student had any degree of "brillance" about him he would not BE at an American University, he would be at a European University or an Oceanic University for the purposes of making himself more globally viable for the future. He will discover that American Unis, are FAR from being as highly held overseas as the people in this country delusionally believe. As I learned instantly upon moving to the Netherlands. We are being totally left behind. Period...

HAHAHA the average joe isnt in Guiness, no offense to Mr Rogers but I know for an absolute fact that your tax exempt up to 80 Thousand dollars on foreign earned income. He knows that, and as far as the IMF is concerned they have treatened to dump gold reserves in EVERY crisis since the 70's. He knows THAT too. The rich protect the rich, Rogers is no different, although I agree with his assessment and think he is a "somewhat" honest man...to a point anyway.

Spend a few thousand and dig two wells on your own land.

Water is why I live in the NW where 1. It rains alot, 2. The snowpack is constant, and 3. I am upwind of every primary nuclear target.
Another reason is air conditioning. A/C takes loads of electricity, and given that electricity will be a problem during martial law, it is prudent to live somewhere that doesn't require it to be comfortable.

Self-sufficiency will have its day, while the masses find empty Walmarts. Kudos.
