So sorry- don't mean to be disrespectful but couldn't Shane not drink for one day, just one day....leads to the next for Ronnie Drew if now for himself.

It's all great - except for Shane. I love this guy but he sings horrible and looks like a bloated clown. It hurts me to see all his enablers to allow the guy to just die while walking. Much respect to the only man - Ronnie Drew to have to deal misfits of talent.

Good for you redmickconnors!!! Too right we so often slag our own! Bono showed great pride and genuine passion for this wonderful salute to one of our heroes! He was instrumental in the drive behind the whole thing and this showed on the night! Damo Dempsey was just terrific on his part, he was the perfect selection because of his equal passion and honesty which he conveys in his voice - just like Ronnie Drew!! :)
