Ogre Battle -- Title Screen (SNES Version)

After seeing the relative lack of Ogre Battle videos on YouTube, I have decided to upload a few Ogre Battle clips to give some attention to this game. This is the title screen to Ogre Battle.

I never really got into the Ogre Battle series... guess had my hands full with other games at the time.

I always waited for the title track to finish before starting the game.

Whenever I listened to this I imagined myself parading through a freshly liberated city, armorclad, on horseback, and with some badass army following me. Trumpets of war included.

I love the title music. I love how it builds up to the climax at 0:42.  The Ogre Battle games are underrepresented.

u should put a video in the entrance with warren....i used to "start a new game" just to listen to that song or do that trick to hear the music .... damn i forgot it.... u should put the music... god i love it.. i still play it and i still have the original game..too bad my mom threw away the box manual and literature :(

I think the Black Queen may be referring to Empress Endora, ruler of the Zenobian Empire, who has turned her back on her people and cohorted with the evil archmage Rashidi (this makes more sense if you've played the game).

This may sound like a stupid question, but who or what is the Black Queen? A force of evil or a villainess of the game? I couldn't find the information anywhere.

Good idea you've got. Youtube really lacks of video from this game. It's probably one of the most interesting and original games made on the snes and it is so unpopular :/ I guess I'll have to make a video of it too someday.
