@casualuserable It doesn't matter what the reasons were for the marshall plan. No charity is ever really free...the fact is germany, along with the other war torn european countries, were saved financially by the US. We also saved west berlin from starvation after WW2 by the soviets during the Berlin Airlift. So yes the U.S. has endured many costs in helping its allies. So I still don't see why you're trying so hard to crap on Americans. Are u a communist or something? lol

I don't ever remember mentioning about how u can't mention hitler in germany. You got the wrong poster. As far as selling weapons to the allies we did this in WW1 but in WW2 we literally gave our obsolete destroyers and ships to the brits it was called the lend-lease act. We weren't actually paid up front for them. Btw we also sent $11billion of war material to the soviets

And I don't think the Marshall Plan was created becuase of charity, but to shrink the Sowjet influence in Europe.
