Dan, Dan the Dancing Man

This was my fun little project over the summer. I had an internship at the University of Bonn in Germany and got to stop by a few other places along the way.

Hope you enjoy, it was inspired very strongly by Matt Harding's dancing video. I'm not trying top him, that would be impossible, just my own story using his template, shall we say.

I saw a total of nine countries in Europe and took video in most of them. Includes footage from England, Germany, France, Holland, Austria, Slovakia, Italy, Monaco, San Marino, and the US.

This was done in the stock Microsoft Movie Maker, so if it looks cheaply done, well, there you go. My camera was an Olympus SP-310, any videos that look grainy were done with other cameras set at lower resolution.

So go ahead and laugh, cry, marvel at my bravery for handing strangers my camera to film me, do whatever just as long as it brightens you day and maybe even broadens your horizons and expands you mind a bit.

And never, ever stop dancing.

didn't you just totally copy off someone else? i saw them on the tv theyre called matt i think its basically the same as this but i think his was the original otherwise you would have been on tv.. btw i dont meen to sound rude i was just saying i thought i saw someone else do this.

Yea, I definitely copied him :) Matt Harding's the guy's name. I made this just for fun as a response to his video so part of the point was to use the same format as him, etc. Matt's done two really popular videos and he's somewhere in Asia at the moment doing a third I think.

Slovenia is just south of Austria, but I went to SlovAKIA, just east of Austria. Bratislava is about an hour east of Vienna by boat or train. Very nice and very westernized (except for the train station, that was thoroughly eastern european!).

Definitely Cinque Terre. You can't beat kayaking in caves off the Mediterranean!
