Tomb Raider Anniversary: Speedrun Segment 7 - 02:53

Initially I was going to include Poseidon to this segment, but I soon realized that was a hell of a task, due to plenty of difficult shortcuts, so I gave it up. Also, splitting it into different segments allowed me to refresh health and not to use any medipacks.
As for this attempt, I failed two little jumps after activating both of the switches in the beginning, even though that's annoying, it shouldn't cost me more than a second.
In the Hephaestus entranceway, I decided to take the route over the beams, since it's only half a second slower than the door skip, which is very unreliable at the Hepheastus doors.
After jumping off the hammer and initialising the airwalk, I perform one gratuitous and uncontrolled side-roll, but other than that it's ok.

It's a bit tricky, you have to aim slightly to the right after dropping down and if your lucky, she'll grab that ledge.

Is there a certain trick to get past that lighing room without getting struck? I'm trying to do the Xbox360 achievement.

You just need to take care of not stamping on the higher platforms, then you'll get through safely. ;)

Well, you don't need to draw your guns the same moment you perform the jump, if you jump from a sufficient distance it'll still work if you draw them shortly before you hit the ledge, on that you wanted to initiate the air glitch.

tehehe yeah ^_^; thanx, though I had been refering to the fact that in your vids you're jumping then quickly taking out your guns, bypassing the shooting part, I did manage (somehow) to do a few things from your vids but I'm still very confused at your process using the air glitch
