A test of the control logic and slow drive mechanism for my next time-lapse project. The mechanism seen here is a motorized gearbox which will eventually be used to move the camera platform for taking time-lapse movies. With the camera set to take one photo every minute, I shot a sequence to verify that the drive would work consistently for long periods over many cycles without problems. In this clip, the controller is set to drive the motor for 10 revolutions per camera activation cycle.
Looking good so far. Now it's time to transfer the control circuitry from the breadboard to a permanent circuitboard, build the rest of the camera stand, and integrate the drive mechanism seen here into it.
