This sort of behavior is done outside of politics also, banks using their power to line their own pockets through the power of those who already have. It's easy to get richer when you are already rich. More pass the risk off to the little people. America has gone the way of corruption through and through, the playing field is so skewed towards those who have connections. It's not a republican or democrat thing. Equal opportunity is only available for those who have the inside connections.

Dodd is also the head of banking and finance committe and wants us, the taxpayers to help out the mortgage theives and the dummies that didn't realize they couldn't handle a $800K mortgage on a $30K salary. All these political hacks need to resign. these are the guys that want republicans to leave office for lesser infractions. Dodd is also Obama's boy. If Dodd didn't know that this was wrong then he should resign for being just plain too stupid to lead.

I worked as a Loan Officer for 10 years and let me tell you people something. EVERYONE, even the most uneducated jackass, is CONSUMED with what their interest rate is going to be.

I worked at Countrywide and knew all about the Friends of Angelo Program.
