Most of the dancers in this video were true beginners...this was the first time most of them had ever done this dance. I agree with putting your own styling in a dance, but first it's good to master the basics. Fun, for sure.

I've noticed at country line dancing places where most of the people who really have the choreography down and can do them automatically without any effort, one thing they do is not give the moves any flavor! sure it looks cool but there's no spirit or spark of energy! when I dance, I immerse my whole being into feeling the movement, even if it has already been mastered, it never gets tiring and I can do a simple kick or rock-step with variation that it's just as fun as when I first learned it
