what about my thick carpet? I hit putts and they break, even though my floor is supposedly flat. After putting four or five strokes, the ball just follows the groove of the other balls... How do I know if I'm putting a good stroke or the carpet it guiding it in there?
you don't. just like on the course, you will do well, if you learn to read the green/carpet.
